HELEN BAILEY
Decorator | TV Host | Evecutive Producer | Event Planner
Often described as innovative, impactful, and energizing, with a unique sense of style and grace.
When Macy's envisioned a stylish and comfortable show home in the center of Chicago's McCormick Convention floor for The National Urban League, and Walmart wanted a prototype of the ultimate college dorm room created on-site in the store, or even when Lowe's needed a breakdown of affordable ways to glam up homes for the holidays. ABC wanted to show their viewers how to decorate like all those Housewives; CBS said to show our viewers some tips on renovating an old house to a gorgeous new one on a budget; Helen was their go-to decorator they all gave a call to. Taking rooms from drab to fab is Helen's specialty, so it was all just a piece of cake for her.
With years of hard work, Helen has been fortunate enough to have lived one of her dreams by producing and hosting her own home makeover and lifestyle TV show, which aired for three seasons on Viacom's BET/Centric network in the United States, London, and Africa. At the beginning of each episode, she greeted her viewers with a warm smile and welcome while heading up a production team of twenty-five workers behind the scenes. She also worked closely with the BET sales team and integrated with such well-known national brands as P&G’s Bounty and Glade products, Walmart, IKEA, Lowe’s, Pier 1 Imports, Ace Hardware, Sherwin-Williams, Jay Z, Beyonce, Solange, others. As a child, Helen’s playground was at one of Chicago’s grand hotels where her mother worked. As a result of that exposure, she learned about an opulent lifestyle early on. Her travels throughout the US and Europe, where she indulges herself by staying in luxury hotels and exploring enchanting castles in the English countryside, still provide her with unending inspiration.
Bailey has studied Art Business at the world-renowned Christie’s auction house in London, taking it all the way and attending Harvard. She continues to tirelessly push herself to achieve her goals with the hopes of one day helping others to achieve theirs.
